Who is John Wick?

John Wick, brought to life by Keanu Reeves, is a retired but legendary hitman, known for his lethal efficiency and a code of conduct that sets him apart in a murky underworld. His story begins with a personal tragedy that draws him back into the world he left behind, unleashing a saga of revenge and redemption. Wick is a man of few words with a rich backstory, marked by loss and a quest for justice. This blend of brooding introspection and explosive action makes John Wick a compelling and iconic character in modern cinema.

The P30L is John’s staple gun from Chapter 1 to 2, where the pistol was fitted with a custom compensator. It made an appearance at the beginning of the third movie but not as Mr. Wick’s primary sidearm.

John uses two versions of the Glock 26 throughout the saga. In the first movie, he uses the standard Glock 26 as his backup firearm. But in the second film, he used a customized version (courtesy of Taran Tactical Innovations).

The Taran Tactical upgrades on the classic Glock 34 make it a go-to for John at the beginning of Chapter 4. The upgrades that came with the TTI package are a match-grade barrel, premium sights, an integral magwell, a Timney trigger, and a refined grip texture. Let’s not forget the badass cuts in the slide that make the Glock 34 a gun more fitting for our favorite assassin.

While gearing up for the High Table’s attack at the New York Continental, Charon offers the TTI STI 2011 Combat Master to John. Along with his shotgun, the pistol was then used by Mr. Wick throughout the siege, especially during close-quarter battles.

This timeless revolver is one of the guns used in John Wick 3. At the beginning of the film, Mr. Wick picks up a Remington 1875 at an antique firearms museum and tries to reassemble it to have a working weapon. After detaching the barrel and using one from a Colt 1851 Navy, John successfully loaded the gun with a .44-40 cartridge. This scene looked like it was a tribute for the 1960’s western film “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.”

Compact and stylish, the TTI Pit Viper is designed specifically for JW4. The gun was also revealed for the first time in the film. Taran Tactical didn’t fail Mr. Wick, from the slide’s fang-shaped protrusions to the ergonomic beaver tail. It also features the ultimate fire control group – lite speed hammer, ultra-low mass sear, match disconnector, and titanium hammer strut.

Thompson Center Arms Encore

Spoiler alert – A customized version of the Encore was used as a dueling pistol for John’s duel with Caine at the end of Chapter 4.

This pistol from Thompson Center arms can switch calibers faster than you can say “Baba Yaga,” thanks to its interchangeable barrel. It’s a single-shot, break-action design, crafted for those who prefer each shot to count. You can choose between a stainless steel or blued finish, both of which offer durability and a unique aesthetic.

In John Wick: Chapter 2, our favorite assassin adds the TTI TR-1 Ultralight to his arsenal. He purchases it from The Sommelier and uses it in his fight against Gianna D’Antonio. John’s unit has “fitted with a BCM Gunfighter Mod 0 collapsible stock, BCM KMR Alpha 13″ forearm, BCM pistol grip and vertical foregrip, PRI Compensator, 1-6×24 Trijicon Accupoint scope with an RMR on a canted rail, and Magpul PMAGs.” IMFDB

During the battle in the New York Continental, the M2 Super 90 was one of John Wick’s firearms – again with an upgrade from Taran Tactical. During the siege, John showcased some reloading techniques – dual and quad loading, that are usually applied in competition shooting.
