Manufacturer’s Description
The Crimson Trace Lasergrips SIG Sauer P228 & P229 is a polymer, grip-replacement laser sight with a rubber overmold (activation pad) for P228 and P229 model pistols. Note: There are multiple versions of this lasergrip available, including dual and front side activation variants, and a military standards (MIL-STD) variant, which means a waterproof design.
Additional features include:
- An pressure-activated activation switch —it activates under natural grip pressure;
- dual and front side activation variants;
- a master on/off switch;
- two 2032 lithium batteries with more than four hours of life;
- a 5mW red laser;
- a .5″ dot at 50′.
Crimson Trace says this laser is factory sighted at 50′. You can adjust it for windage and elevation, and install it yourself.
The laser is backed by a three-year warranty, and an added promise of batteries for life.
