The Crimson Trace Master Series Lasergrips 1911 Full Size is a grip-replacement laser sight for select 1911 and 1991A1 full size model pistols. Supported 1911 brands include Auto-Ordnance, Les Baer, Colt, Kimber, Nighthawk Custom, Olympic Arms, Para-Ordnance (full-size, single-stack), Safari Arms, Sig Sauer, Smith & Wesson, Springfield Armory, Taurus, Dan Wesson, and Wilson Combat. The lasergrip activation pad is comprised of a rubber overmold and includes a front activation switch designed to allow for a natural firing grip.
Note: There are multiple versions of this lasergrip available that differ in body style and material, including rosewood, black/grey, solid black, green, walnut, and cocobolo variants. Furthermore, some of the grips are made of polymer.
Additional features include:
A pressure-activated front switch—it activates under natural grip pressure;- a master on/off switch;
- two 2025 lithium batteries with more than four hours of life;
- a 5mW red laser; and
- a .5″ dot at 50′.
Crimson Trace says this laser is factory sighted at 50′. You can adjust it for windage and elevation, and install it yourself.
The laser is backed by a three-year warranty, and an added promise of batteries for life.
