Manufacturer’s Description

STI‘s TruBor model is a double-stack, 1911-style race gun chambered in 9mm Major, 9x23mm or .38 Super. Built on a patented modular steel frame with polymer grip, the TruBor utilizes the TruBor compensated barrel, which is machined from one piece of 416, rifle-grade stainless steel.
STI TruBor

The TruBor is designed to eliminate misalignment of the barrel and compensator bore or movement of the compensator along the barrel threads, giving the shooter a more consistent performance and reduced muzzle flip.

True to 1911 tradition, the TruBor has a classic scalloped slide with front and rear cocking serrations on a forged steel slide (blued) with polished sides, aluminum magwell, stainless steel ambidextrous safeties, stainless steel high rise grip safety, full length guide rod, checkered front strap, and checkered mainspring housing. It comes with a mounted C-More Railway sight.

Note on ammo: The TruBor is designed and tuned for IPSC Major Power Factor grade ammunition. Factory .38 Super and .38 Super +P generally do not meet the minimum power and pressure levels required for proper operation of these competition grade firearms.
