The Girsan MC 39 is a Beretta 92-style semiauto pistol built on an aluminum alloy frame with a steel slide, and chambered in 9mm. Other features include:
A short recoil, delayed blowback system;
a double-action/single-action trigger;
a cold forged barrel;
an open slide design;

an ambidextrous, frame-mounted thumb safety;
a firing pin safety block;
a hammer safety;
a loaded chamber indicator;
a dovetailed notch rear sight;
a dovetailed white dot front sight;

either a black finish, or a white finish (i.e., chrome/stainless).
