If you are a beginner, there is no way you can pull off a night trek alone and even if you are experienced, you must still go with a group because night treks are much more complicated than the day treks.

First and foremost, you must be fully loaded with edibles and drinking water. You should have both hot meals and cold ones. You must also keep energy bars and nuts as snacks during the hike. Coming to water, you must have plenty of water according to your body type.

Not Carrying Proper Clothing or Footwear

Clothing and footwear is another crucial part of how you should plan your trek. If this aspect goes wrong, you might not be able to complete your trek comfortably.

What is preferable is that instead of carrying bulky jackets and coats, you must choose layers of clothing. By doing this, you increase the chance of insulation manifolds, thus keeping you warmer.

Also, before packing your clothes you must pay attention to the weather forecasts and prepare accordingly. Your shoes or hiking boots must be both durable and comfortable.
