Manufacturer’s Description
The Rock Island Armory Tactical 2011 High Capacity pistol is a full-size, double-stack 1911-style semi-auto pistol built on a steel frame and chambered in .45 ACP or 9mm. This pistol features a full-length dust cover with a full-length rail.
Other features include:
- An ambidextrous safety;
- a combat hammer;
- an extended beavertail
- a fiber-optic front sight;
- an adjustable rear sight;
- a skeletonized trigger;
- a Series 70 firing system;
- a magwell; and
- a blue finish.
VZ Operator grips are optional.
Note: Rock Island imports these pistols from Armscor in the Phillipines.

This in my opinion is the gun I have been waiting for. It has a combat look. I hope it will be in keeping with the high standards of RIA as well as the low price. If it does it will be a winner. I can’t wait to get mine.
i really like the idea of the pistol, but the mags dont fit good too loose and couldnt find mags to fit correctly
