Sarsilmaz B6C Features
Dovetailed Rear Sight
The Sarsilmaz B6C comes with a dovetailed rear sight, making it easy to adjust or swap out with aftermarket options for a personalized touch. However, the front sight isn’t as customizable, which could be a downside if you like to tweak your setup. Plus, the standard sights aren’t night sights, so visibility in low-light situations might be a bit of a challenge.
Rear Slide Serrations
The rear slide serrations on the B6C are designed to give you a better grip when racking the slide, adding extra control during use. That said, some might find the serrations a bit too subtle, which could make slide manipulation trickier in wet conditions or when wearing gloves.
Extended Beavertail
The B6C’s extended beavertail is a great feature for preventing “slide bite” and offers a higher, more comfortable grip during recoil. However, it might feel a bit bulky for shooters with smaller hands or those who prefer a sleeker, more compact pistol profile.
Manual Thumb Safety
The B6C features a manual thumb safety, allowing for a cocked-and-locked carry and adding an extra layer of security with a chambered round. On the downside, its placement might feel awkward for some users, and operating it quickly under stress can be tricky. Plus, engaging the safety while decocked locks the slide, which could slow you down in an emergency.
The B6C includes a firing pin safety, which blocks the firing pin until the trigger is fully pulled, adding extra security against accidental discharge. However, some users might find this feature a bit complex, potentially causing confusion if they’re not familiar with how it works.
Hammer Safety
The B6C’s hammer safety prevents the hammer from falling unless the trigger is fully pulled, reducing the risk of accidental discharge. However, like the firing pin safety, it might feel a bit complicated for newer users, potentially leading to misfires or unintentional action locks if the mechanisms aren’t fully understood.

Final Thoughts
The Sarsilmaz B6C has a lot going for it, and I can see why it’s a favorite for budget-conscious shooters. The dovetailed rear sight and extended beavertail make it comfortable and easy to handle, while the safety features give me some extra peace of mind. That said, I did find a few quirks, like the limited front sight options and the slightly subtle slide serrations, which might take some getting used to. If you’re like me and appreciate a reliable pistol that won’t break the bank, the B6C is definitely worth a closer look!

I am not a gun expert by any means but in a side by side comparison vs the xd40 the b6 shot more accurately and just felt great in your hand. Picked it up new for under $300.0 with no ftf/fte through 150 rnds. A superior value especially at this price point. Easily compares to ruger or Springfield.

Apenas compre este modelo B6-C. La he probado a unos 25 o 30 metros y responde muy, tiene poco retroceso, libiana y un agarre perfecto. Me siento muy comodo, solo resta ganar confianza con el tiempo.

I’ve had a B6P for a few years now. It’s a fantastic shooter, very accurate. One thing I would change is the slide serations. With the “internal” slide, it makes for a small area of grip for those with small and weak hands. They need to be more agressive or machined in such a way which promotes a grip when pulling back (an agressive edge on the rear part of each serration facing forward would be perfect). The gun is well made and works as smooth as silk and eats whatever I have fed it inculding steel cased. Another “negative” about this gun is the availability of accessories. Very difficult to find magazines for this sepecific gun. I have only the one that came with it and have also been using an extended magazing which I have as an after market for a Taurus PT111. It holds 15 rounds, works prefect in the Taurus, but also “fits” perfectly in the B6P. I think its a MecGar. It feeds well, the only things it doesn’t do is fit flush and hold back slide on empty mag. This is because the follower is shaped differently. But other than that, a cheap alternative for extra mags.
Another thing I’d like to see change is the grip texture, I wish it was just a bit more aggressive. Generally well made and a hell of a lot less expensive that the comparable CZ!!! I have no idea why this rating is as low as it is, probably because of it not being a BIG name.
Hi Ben, thanks for the info/feedback. So, this gun’s 7.0 current rating is actually well above average. On this site, the average rating across all guns is 6.0ish.
