Manufacturer’s Description

STI’s DVC Tactical is a semi-auto 1911-style pistol built on a steel double-stack frame with a steel slide, and chambered in 9mm or .45 ACP. The “DVC” acronym stands for diligentia, vis, celeritas, the motto of the International Practical Shooting Confederation. Translated, the motto means accuracy, power, speed.
Other features include:

• A 5″ threaded bull barrel with a TiAIN coating and a thread protector;
• a diamond-like-carbon (DLC) black finish on the frame and slide;

  

• lightening cuts on the slide;
• a full-length dust cover with a picatinny rail;
• two 140mm black magazines;
• a 3.5-lb. trigger pull;
• an ambidextrous thumb safety lever;
• a low-profile front sight with a tritium dot;
• a fixed ledge notch rear sight with one tritium dot;
• a stippled black grip;
• a Dawson Precision tool-less guide rod; and
• a tactical magwell.
